1) Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Sabbath ("Sabbath," "we") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our app and related services.

2) Information We Collect

• Account and profile information: account identifiers, phone number, display name, profile photo or avatar, and account timestamps.
• App data: Sabbath schedules, saved timers, selected days and times, time zone, session history, pause history, recap information, and app preferences.
• Screen Time selections: apps, categories, and websites you choose to protect through Apple's Screen Time APIs.
• Contacts, if you allow access: contact names, phone numbers, contact identifiers, and contact photos used to help find or invite friends.
• Social data: friend requests, friendships, public profile details, and activity shared with friends in the app.
• Purchase data: subscription status, product identifiers, entitlement status, and purchase metadata from Apple and RevenueCat.
• Device, analytics, and support data: app events, diagnostics, device or app version information, and information you provide when contacting us.

3) How We Use Information

• Provide and improve Sabbath's scheduling, Screen Time, reminders, recap, account, subscription, and social features.
• Personalize your app experience and keep your saved settings in sync.
• Help you find, invite, and interact with friends if you use social features.
• Confirm subscription access and process account requests.
• Monitor reliability, fix bugs, improve product quality, and prevent misuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and platform requirements.

4) Screen Time and Contacts

Sabbath uses Apple's Screen Time, FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings frameworks to provide app blocking and recap features. Contacts access is optional and is used only to help find and invite friends. You can manage Screen Time, Contacts, and Notifications permissions in iOS Settings.

5) Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with:

• Service providers who help us run the app, including Supabase for backend and authentication, RevenueCat for subscriptions, and PostHog for analytics.
• Apple for App Store purchases, Screen Time permissions, notifications, and platform services.
• Legal, safety, and compliance recipients where required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfer recipients if Sabbath is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

6) Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the app, maintain your account, meet legal and operational requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and improve the service.

7) Your Choices and Rights

• You can update or delete certain information in the app.
• You can delete your account in Sabbath by opening Settings > Account > Delete account.
• You can manage Contacts, Screen Time, and Notifications permissions in iOS Settings.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
• Depending on where you live, you may request access, deletion, correction, portability, or restriction of certain personal information.

8) Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

9) Children's Privacy

Sabbath is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

10) International Data Transfers

We may transfer and process information in countries other than your own, including the United States.

11) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy and will post the new effective date above.
